Well, I have played my part in Vaccination Part 1. It was all very slick really. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and I even got a nice comment on my mask – it was the Star Wars one today “A long time ago … we did not have to wear masks!” It was not even Jabba in the Hut but a proper building. My cameo in ‘Vaccination 2 – And Finally’ will be in 12 weeks.

I have to say that in no way are these vaccinations like my favourite quiz – Pointless.

In other news, now that the end of my new novel is almost in sight, I needed to get some facts checked out so sent some chapters over to a police consultant i.e. those chapters where police action is involved. There were about 15,000 words so about 18% of the total so far. The consultant, Stuart Gibbon, used to be in the job and has written books on it too. He came back with some invaluable comments and changes have been made, although some of these lead to further enquiries which are ongoing. The positive thing from my point of view is that he enjoyed what he read and was keen to read the whole thing. From his email to literary agents’ ears.
