My blogs are now posted on Linked In, in addition to Facebook and Twitter, and I keep getting a message on that particular site to mention someone in my posts. How to do that I thought to myself because that would involve mixing business – my day job – with what is currently only a hobby?
I don’t think it is a secret that my day job is insurance and has been since I started work at 16. I work for a StRonG organisation and a few people who work there (or have worked there) I know have read at least one of my books so I thought I would give them a name check.
In no particular order then;
- Colin Birch
- Richard Brown (Crouchie)
- Sharon Brown (no relation)
- Peter Mead
- Nick Porter
- Rees Vosper
- Terri Warner
- Stephanie Willbond-Hill
Now that I look at the list I see it is in alphabetical order, what are the chances of that? Also to be mentioned with kindness are Peter’s and Rees’s other halves who also had a read as well as Terri’s niece who has read Once Upon A Week. Many of the above also left good reviews on Amazon too so a double thanks there.
If I have left anyone out don’t be afraid to point it out. Maybe looking at this illustious company may become the proximate cause in other colleagues taking up the reading habit. It’s good to read!
Er… I’m sure it’s only a coincidence that most of the people that have read my books are no longer with the company.
